Flight Engineer is a comprehensive aviation intelligence hub designed exclusively for airline pilots and industry professionals, by airline pilots. It consolidates critical flight operations data into a single, streamlined native iOS application.

The platform provides real-time access to flight plan data, global airport weather including U.S. D-ATIS, and live high-resolution radar mapping. It also proactively keeps crews ahead of schedule disruptions with automated push notifications for FAA ground stops and delays, while offering built-in operational tools like a FAR 117 calculator to manage duty limits.

With the arrival of the dedicated iOS platform, we are formally retiring our legacy web architecture to deliver a faster, fully native experience built strictly around mobile flight operations.

Because the iOS app utilizes an entirely reimagined architecture, existing web accounts, saved profile data, and legacy web billing subscriptions will be permanently sunset and purged upon final decommission. Active web subscribers will not be automatically billed into the new ecosystem.

When downloading the iOS app, you will create a fresh profile and manage any future subscriptions directly within the new application.

No. Flight Engineer is strictly a supplemental situational awareness tool. It is not an authorized Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), nor is it an official dispatch or navigation tool approved by the FAA or individual airlines. Pilots must always rely on their company-issued EFB and standard operating procedures for all official flight operations.

However, Flight Engineer is designed to be the most intelligent and efficient way to access critical operational data outside of the flight deck. It bridges the gap between restrictive company hardware and your personal device, empowering you to commute, pre-plan, and anticipate schedule disruptions with professional-grade intelligence right from your pocket.
